Dear Parents and Guardians

Update following Police Warning Last Week

We notified you last week of an incident where a man had given money to two of our pupils on their way to school. The elderly gentleman has been identified as living locally and harmless.

He has been visited by the police who have explained to him that such gestures, although meant well, are not appropriate.

Dear Parents and Guardians

We have been informed by the Police of a man in the vicinity of the school who has approached our children and offered them money on their way to school.  The police will be attending this afternoon.

All children are being reminded of the importance not to talk to strangers and to tell an adult immediately of any incident.  We would also encourage children walking to and from school to walk with a friend/sibling.

Thank you.
