All Saints Women’s Fellowship

We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month at 2.30 pm (except January and August) as All Saints Church Hall – Donald Rose Room.  Interesting and varied programme.  New members welcome.

 

Brownies

Both meet Mondays at the All Saints Church Hall.

 

Cissbury Players

A theatrical group which performs three times a year.  The group welcomes everyone as members both acting and non-acting.  Rehearsals twice a week.

Findon 4 Sight

This is a club for the blind and partially sighted, meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10.30 at Findon Valley Free Church.  Varied programme, transport available, friendly welcome guaranteed!

 

Findon Probus Club

We are open to fully and partially retired professional and business men.  The objective of the club is to promote good fellowship and friendship amongst the members.

 

Findon Valley Friends of St Barnabas & Chestnut Tree House Hospices

Findon Village Gardens Association

Findon Village Lambs Tail Playgroup

Lambs Tail parent and toddler group meets at Findon Village Hall on Thursdays between 10.00 am – 12.00 pm for everyone with children of pre-school age, run by volunteer parents.  Weekly cost of £2 per family.

 

Girls Night Out Club

This is an informal group that has had its inaugural meeting in Oct.  We meet from time to time to have FUN, as and when and where and how the members want.  The set up is informal with everyone contributing to the running of the group.  For info. E-mail Brenda.Yates@bigfoot.com.

Sussex Autistic Society

We provide outreach respite care to families, activity weeks during the school holidays.  We also provide structured activities two Saturdays a month at our family centres in Rustington and Eastbourne.  Our Behaviour Management Advisor is also available as well as support to families.

 

Tea at Three

Do you find Sundays a bit long and a little bit lonely?  Why not come along to Tea at Three.  Meets at the Donald Rose Room at All Saints Church Hall on the First Sunday in the month at 3.00 pm.

The Club meets on Tuesdays at 12.45 pm at the Findon Valley Free Church for lunch and Fellowship.  Everyone welcome.

The Women’s Institute provides opportunities for all women to meet once a month for a varied programme of interesting topics.  This WI meets 2nd Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm in the Willage Hall.  New members most welcome.

 

Worthing Achievers

Social club for physically disabled adults.  Meets 3rd Saturday of monthy at the West Worthing Baptist Church, South Street, Tarring, (near W. Worthing rail station) 2.00 – 4.00 pm.  Fully accessible and disabled facilities.

 

Worthing and District Branchy of the Alzheimer’s Disease Society

The Branch includes a Respite Care Scheme, Carers Support Group (meet monthly).  Information Centre, Trips, Advocacy Servoce, and Centre Club for younger people with dementia.  Interested in become a member or volunteering?  We would welcome you with open arms.

 

Worthing & District Diabetic Club

Meets on the 1st Monday of each month (exc. Jan., July and Aug.) at 3.10 pm in the Post Graduate Centre, Worthing Hospital, Park Avenue.  The club aims to bring together diabetics and their carers to discuss subjects of mutual interest, enjoy social events and outings and to support the Diabetes Centre.

 

Worthing Breath East Group (British Lung Foundation Support Network)

We meet at Field Place, The Strand at 2.30 pm the second Friday of each month.  The group brings together anyone with a breathing disorder.  We have speakers and enjoy social events and keep up-to-date with treatments.
